What To Do For A Spray Tan

At City Retreat Salons, we have our top tips to help you achieve the best spray tan results... Make sure to complete all waxing at least 24 hours before your tanning appointment. Also, exfoliate your body on the morning of your appointment. 

Top Tip: Pay close attention to dry areas of your body when exfoliating such as feet, knees and elbows.

Don't wear any make-up, deodorant, perfume or body lotion to your appointment. Please be sure to wear loose dark clothing to prevent the tan from streaking or staining your clothes. Don't worry, we will provide you with disposable pants!

After your spray tan, avoid activities that will cause you to sweat and don't shower or bathe for at least 8 hours. If you'd like a darker tan, you can even leave the spray tan on overnight!

Long-Lasting Spray Tan Results

To make your spray tan last as long as possible, we will recommend the right body moisturiser to keep the skin hydrated. After showering or bathing, always pat the skin dry and do not rub as this will rub the tan off! Avoid swimming pools where possible as chlorine can bleach your tan.
