The reception and waiting area is immaculate, welcoming and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was perfect, the spa is stunning and the staff are amazing and were so welcoming. Catherine and Imogen gave us our treatment and it was fantastic. I highly recommend a full body massage. We hope to be back soon.

As always, Maddison is a fabulous therapist who makes sure the facial is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. My skin feels amazing.

I visited City Retreat this at Jesmond for the first time and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the front desk, Kayleigh welcomed me warmly and answered all my questions. I had a 5hr+ session and Catherine, the therapist who attended to me was simply fantastic. She was professional all thr...ough my sessions; she gave the most relaxing massage and took her time explaining the treatments I was having and asked about my skin concerns before starting. She gave me helpful tips about my nail concerns and was just brilliant. I was constantly offered drinks (water, tea, coffee) in addition to a delicious afternoon tea and lovely fruit platter. The ambience of the spa was breath taking, very oriental and calming. To be honest, this has been my best spa experience in the UK and I have been to a couple of spas. Absolutely gorgeous experience. The treatment room was a calming atmosphere and the technician was very warm and welcoming and communicated clearly what to expect, as well as asking what level of pressure I preferred. The massage itself was so relaxing and I felt comfortable throughout.
