We have a private car park available at the rear of the building for the exclusive use of our guests. Please leave your car registration details at reception on arrival.

It was our first time having a spa experience and everyone was so lovely. We decided to get a split treatment of a massage and facial! Both were extremely good and I had a lot of comments on my skin afterwords! As someone who suffers with sensitive skin/eczema, my skin is never a positive topic, so this was very nice for me! I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve recently been disappointed with some of the North East Spa’s I’ve visited, so am delighted to have found the fabulous City Retreat in Jesmond. A truly bespoke facility with beautiful private changing area and sauna/steam chill room, ideal for one of my daughters who wears a headscarf. The staff were friendly and welcoming and both of my daughters loved their relaxing massages. The extra refreshments were a lovely touch, especially the cupcakes which were checked for nut allergies. An overall lovely experience, we can’t wait for our next visit.

I had a hot stone full body massage, the whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The staff on reception were so welcoming. The therapist who carried out my treatment was extremely professional, explaining how the treatment would work and what to expect. The room was stunning, so warm and incredibly relaxing, the temperature and lighting was perfect. The massage was genuinely the best I have ever had, the whole process was so relaxing and enjoyable. The therapists was clearly very experienced and passionate about what she does as it clearly showed. Overall a fantastic experience, one I have told everyone about. I will most certainly be back and can't recommend City Retreat enough it's above and beyond anywhere else I have been.

I had a five hour Heaven Scent package and it was really wonderful. I loved the private time with loungers, wet and dry saunas, fruit and juice both before my massage and facial and after...and the tea in that second window was so nice. I really appreciated being given an option for sandwiches too .
I'm looking forward to booking another package next time I visit Newcastle.

As always, a lovely experience visiting CR. I had a wonderful massage with the perfect pressure. Love the massage rooms, the opulent look and feel makes a big difference and that is why I choose CR over cheaper alternatives. Love the ELEMIS products.

We had a lovely experience, the spa space was lovely and private for me and my friend to move between the saina and steam room at leisure. The treatments were amazing and we both felt relaxed after. We will definitely return.

The staff were very friendly and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Morgan did my massage and the massage was amazing and so relaxing. The room was very calming and lovely atmosphere. Morgan explained clearly what was going to happen during the visit. Wuold definitely like a massage from morgan again thank you.
