My therapist was fantastic and explained everything in detail before each treatment while also checking on me throughout each too so I got the best experience possible I had a hot stone message and LED facial treatment I'll be booking again!

Maddison gave an excellent massage; the pressure was absolutely perfect and left me feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Had a spa day given to us as a present and we had a lovely experience at the City Retreat. It was one of the most relaxing spa days I have had. The treatment rooms we used were so relaxing. Sauna and steam room were great. The massage was one of the best I have had. Loved every minute. Really felt relaxed and I look forward to going back. Thank you to everyone.

Fabulous afternoon in the spa suite with my mum. Fruit platter and fruit juice provided alongside a lovely glass of fizz. Treatment was fab and the team were lovely and attentive.

Had my first ever massage here and it truly could not have been a better experience! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the whole facility was very clean and tidy, and the treatment was 10/10. Can’t recommend highly enough 🙂

I had a hot stone full body massage, the whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The staff on reception were so welcoming. The therapist who carried out my treatment was extremely professional, explaining how the treatment would work and what to expect. The room was stunning, so warm and incredibly relaxing, the temperature and lighting was perfect. The massage was genuinely the best I have ever had, the whole process was so relaxing and enjoyable. The therapists was clearly very experienced and passionate about what she does as it clearly showed. Overall a fantastic experience, one I have told everyone about. I will most certainly be back and can't recommend City Retreat enough it's above and beyond anywhere else I have been.

Visited City Retreat to get my nails done for the first time there. Although more than what I’ve paid in the past, definitely worth it! So, so happy with them. Cienna was a delight and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and did a great job with my nails too. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have just visited for a facial and massage and they were both incredible. We had both Beth’s doing our treatments and both were very professional and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our treatments and cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much!

I had a five hour Heaven Scent package and it was really wonderful. I loved the private time with loungers, wet and dry saunas, fruit and juice both before my massage and facial and after...and the tea in that second window was so nice. I really appreciated being given an option for sandwiches too . I'm looking forward to booking another package next time I visit Newcastle.

I had a lovely facial plus scalp, neck & shoulder massage by Helen. She made me feel relaxed, instantly de-stressed and revitalised! My skin was hydrated and glowing after the facial.

Had a fabulous massage today by Emma M. I wanted a back massage but I had abdominal surgery 6 weeks ago and didn’t want to lie on my front, so Emma did the massage with me lying on my side. A very skilled therapist, who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and get the most out of my massage. A very healing experience.

We had a facial and a back massage in the double room, we both felt really relaxed,the girls were lovely and provided excellent massages with just the right pressure, the products smelled amazing and we both commented on how soft our skin felt afterwards.

Hot Stones Massage with Amy. This was very relaxing and just the right pressure. And Amy did some massage on my arms and hands with the hot stones too, which was very welcome in helping with my carpal tunnel syndrome. Booked in again for next month!
