Lesley has been involved in the beauty therapy industry for more than 25 years.

Her vast experience includes working as a beauty therapist, college lecturer in beauty therapy, and is now the owner of one of the top beauty salons in Britain.

Lesley wanted to open a luxury beauty salon and also bring the spa aspect to the city of Newcastle.

City Retreat opened in October 2004 with the aim of offering first-class beauty services in a warm, friendly and luxurious environment, where each client receives an outstanding and memorable experience.

This has since grown to include City Retreat Salons & Spas in Jesmond and Gosforth – bringing the total to three fabulous beauty locations in the Newcastle area.
